I speak from firsthand experience, my father passed when I was 19 years old and unfortunately; we had to sell our childhood home in order for us to get by.

Having a life insurance policy in place at the time would’ve made it easier on my mother and I to be able to grieve my father’s loss and not have to struggle financially at a time when we should’ve been mourning.

Being a Latino culturally speaking we are not taught or educated in financial literacy. Life insurance is a ‘taboo’ subject in our culture when in reality that’s not the case, it is a powerful tool to set up future generations for success.
